A community of forward-thinking utilities forms The Energy Authority (TEA) to compete in the energy industry.

A period of growth and evolution as millions of wholesale energy transactions are executed and complex projects are successfully completed. As a result, TEA emerged as a unique entity with unparalleled market experience and technical expertise. One notable success includes the development of a software application which lead to TEA being named a finalist for the Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences for The Energy Authority Optimizes Water Routing and Hydroelectric Generation on the Columbia River.

TEA employees created internal blockchain application leading to North America’s first working prototype. Seeing the potential to transform the wholesale energy market, Candor is developed for external use.

With the initial prototype nearing completion, Founding Level participation in The Candor Community and access to Candor’s first pilot become a reality.
